Position Summary
The Renewal Account Executive is responsible for maintaining and growing the existing small business borrower relationships. Responsibilities include communicating with customers regarding their current or future financing needs and coordinating with marketing on various communications. The best candidates will be self-motivated, team-oriented and anxious to be part of a rapidly growing business.
key responsibilities
- Influence existing customers on the benefits of renewing or refinancing their existing loan with Channel
- Provide working capital product information, features, and benefits to customers
- Conduct sales presentations via the phone
- Request appropriate information from customers to determine eligibility
- Initiate the loan contract, ensure the customer has a great user experience across sales, credit, and funding teams
- Maintain confidentiality of all customer and company records
- Perform other duties as required
Skills & Specifications
- Strong telephone sales presence
- Organizational skills are key
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Exceptional ability to present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customer, clients, and other employees of the organization.
- Ability to apply basic arithmetic
- Microsoft Word, Spreadsheets, Outlook and an ability to quickly learn and navigate through Channel’s Salesforce system and related technologies.
Education & Qualifications
- 3+ years of inside sales experience working with small businesses
- Demonstrated history of successful closing ratios
- Proven track record of developing strong relationships and repeat customer business
