Partner Management Specialist

Location: Minnetonka, MN

Position Summary

The Partner Management Specialist will report directly to the Director of Partner Management and will play an integral role in the optimal Partner performance (source risk) through initial onboarding and ongoing surveillance of key risk components across the company. This position will collaborate with underwriting and sales leaders in each business unit on business activity and results. This person will play a key role in monitoring partner exposure, performance, programs, and fraud prevention. The best candidates will be self-motivated, team-oriented, and eager to be part of a rapidly growing business.

key responsibilities

  • Conduct initial onboarding reviews for new partners while maintaining and creating records within functional system of record
  • Monitor source risk through on-going reviews for new and existing partners across all business units
  • Leverage and maintain vendor reporting to ensure partner metrics adhere to company policies and target risk appetite
  • Professionally communicate recommended actions via quantified reviews of partner or program performance
  • Collaborate with business units to support relationships and offer exceptional service to our internal partners
  • Provide diligence to identify potential suspicious activity and fraud trends through escalation and preventative mechanisms
  • Provide support and guidance during creation of new programs and performance of evolving offerings

Skills & Specifications

  • Analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multi-task, including changing tasks on short notice
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage their time effectively

Preferred:

  • Familiarity with Salesforce
  • Familiarity with credit reports, such as D&B, PayNet, Experian, and Equifax
  • Familiarity with small ticket equipment financing and working capital industry landscape
  • Knowledge of credit adjudication and/or financial analysis

Education & Qualifications

  • 1-3 years of equipment financing experience, preferably in credit, funding, or risk management
  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant financial field or equivalent work experience
