Marketing Coordinator

Location: Minnetonka, MN

Position Summary

The Marketing Coordinator supports project process and execution for integrated marketing campaigns, brand strategic initiatives, internal communications and more. Core responsibilities include the coordination and completion of projects on time and within scope for both internal and external counterparts. The role is tasked to manage various aspects of project management like timelines & deadlines, budget monitoring, cross-functional progress reporting, creative brief drafts, automated email set-up, and post-program performance review. Additional responsibilities to support presentations for manager and select leadership pertaining.

The successful candidate has enthusiasm to learn our business from the ground up while building critical marketing management and critical thinking skill. Working directly with internal teams, they ensure deliverables fall within the applicable scope and timeline as well as key external partner contacts. This position is onsite at our Minnetonka office.

key responsibilities

  • Project management, from concept development to execution, for assigned marketing tactics, campaigns & events, partner requests, partnerships, and programs.
  • Creates operational process reviews and in-house communication as directed.
  • Manages timelines for pending tasks and project goals as set by Marketing leadership.
  • Develops a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress.
  • Assists in defining project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders to ensure accuracy and feasibility.
  • Drafts notes, copies, opens briefs, manages project queue, and coordinates the creation for marketing materials, including digital, print, content, etc.
  • Handles various administrative marketing duties, including association registrations, trade show requirements & shipments, corporate sponsorship commitments.
  • Tracks campaign and promotion performance, prepares performance reports and supports analysis process.
  • Supports proofing and quality assurance for all in-market materials.
  • Conducts marketplace research in collaboration with Marketing Manager.
  • Helps document and summarize marketing-led meetings as needed.

Skills & Specifications

  • Microsoft Office and its tools (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and prioritize workload to meet deadlines, with minimal supervision.
  • Adaptable and able to pivot direction or timelines, often with short notice.
  • Resourceful and able to assist and collaborate effectively and efficiently with team members.
  • Demonstrates problem solving ability and motivated to learn and grow.
  • Professional demeanor.
  • Effective communicator across all levels.
  • Experience in design, copy writing and/or proofreading is a plus.
  • Experience with Salesforce CRM, Marketo, or Marketing Cloud, is a plus.
  • Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat), is a plus.

Education & Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in advertising, marketing, or related field.
  • Experience: 0-2 years of Marketing and/or Project Management experience.
  • Strong project management skills required; experience using project management tools is a plus.
  • Excessively detail-oriented with excellent follow-up and communication skills, verbal and written.
