Inside Sales Representative

Location: Minnetonka, MN

Position Summary

This position is responsible for driving growth and revenue through the expansion of previously paid-off clients by delivering an exceptional client experience, uncovering additional funding opportunities, and helping clients navigate their financing needs as they grow.

This role focuses exclusively on re-engaging and reactivating previous clients who have fully repaid their working capital loans. The ideal candidate is enthusiastic about sales and eager to learn and grow in a sales-focused environment, has excellent communication skills, and a consultative approach to selling financial products. This position is onsite at our Minnetonka MN office.

key responsibilities

  • Achieve sales goals by effectively educating clients on the benefits of reactivating their working capital financing with Channel through a consultative sales approach.
  • Request appropriate information from clients to determine eligibility and provide working capital product information, features, and benefits to clients.
  • Pipeline Management: Manage a large existing and growing pipeline.
  • Prospect former clients through a high outbound volume of calls, emails, etc., with the goal of re-establishing the relationship.
  • Maintain accurate records of all sales activities, client interactions, and pipeline status in CRM.
  • Performance Analysis & Reporting: Monitor key performance metrics, providing insights and recommendations to optimize partner engagement and sales performance.
  • Provide feedback to leadership on trends, objections, and competitive insights.
  • Meet and exceed monthly quotas for outreach, engagement, conversion and closed deals.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with the credit, funding, and client support teams to deliver a seamless experience from retention through to renewal.
  • Problem Solving: Quickly address client concerns or obstacles, turning challenges into opportunities to deepen loyalty.
  • Perform other duties as required.

Skills & Specifications

  • Relevant experience in financial services, lending, education, consultancy or willingness to learn
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to work independently and maintain organization in a fast-paced, goal-oriented environment
  • Comfortable with high outbound call volumes and managing a large book of business

Education & Qualifications

  • Bachelors in Business, Finance, or other related field preferred
  • Ability to work primarily in-office in Minnetonka, MN
