Position Summary
We are seeking a Cash Management Analyst to join our growing Finance team!
This role is critical in supporting the company’s cash management operations and plays a key part in maintaining strong financial controls, optimizing payment systems, and supporting our broader Treasury, Capital Markets, and Syndications initiatives.
As a Cash Management Analyst, you will be responsible for managing daily cash operations, supporting the Funding team, maintaining banking relationships, and contributing to business performance analysis. key responsibilities
- Support the development of cash management functions for a growing specialty finance company
- Oversee efficient processing of cash disbursements, collections, transfers, refunds, payment confirmations, and 1099 distributions, ensuring strong internal controls
- Record cash activity in the general ledger
- Assist the Cash Manager with banking relationships, account administration, and minimization of bank service charges
- Support annual and monthly reporting processes and AUPs for internal stakeholders, auditors, and creditors
- Liaise with the Treasury liquidity team, supporting daily and monthly liquidity forecasts
- Monitor and report on Cash Management and Treasury KPIs
- Contribute to recurring and ad-hoc business performance analyses
- Handle ad-hoc and new requests with a collaborative, team-oriented approach
- Prepare documentation for core cash management processes
- Other duties, as assigned
Skills & Specifications
- Understanding of bank account structure and commercial lending concepts
- Working knowledge of General Ledger, Loan Origination, and Loan Management Systems
- Must be detail-oriented and deadline-focused with excellent organizational and time management skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Self-motivated and intellectually curious with a passion for learning and continuous improvement
- Good interpersonal relationship skills and motivation for personal and professional growth
- Strong computer skills, including accuracy in data input and intermediate to advanced Excel aptitude
- Desire to learn and understand debt capital markets and bank facilities
Education & Qualifications
- Associates or bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or another related field
- 0 – 4 years of experience working in finance, accounting, or other similar positions
- Prior experience in a lending type of business is preferred
