Position Summary
We’re looking for an Accounting Associate to join our team!
The Accounting Associate, will play a key role in supporting the daily operations of the Accounting Department. This individual will ensure accurate and timely posting of financial transactions across both the loan management system and general ledger. We are seeking a self-driven, team-oriented candidate who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and is eager to contribute to our growing business.
key responsibilities
- Record daily transactions in the Sage Intacct accounting system
- Post transactions in the Aspire loan management system daily
- Process cash transactions across multiple funding and collection bank accounts
- Serve as the point of contact between the Accounting department and other internal teams
- Identify and resolve discrepancies, troubleshoot daily activities
- Assist with other accounting tasks as needed
Skills & Specification
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Must be detail-oriented, deadline-focused, and have excellent organizational and time management skills
- Must be able to prioritize and have a high level of adaptability with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Good interpersonal relationship skills and motivation for personal growth
Education & Qualifications
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field, or equivalent combination of education and work experience
- 0-3 years of progressive experience in Accounting/Finance
